Welcome to Shipion.
By accessing or using our website, mobile app, or services (collectively, the “Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use Shipion.
1. Definitions
Shipion: The logistics and load-bidding platform operated by Shipion.
Customer: Any user who posts loads, transport requirements, or requests services.
Driver: Any transporter, vehicle owner, or logistics provider who bids on or fulfills loads.
User: Any person accessing or using the Platform.
Load: Any transport request posted by a Customer.
Bid: A price or offer submitted by a Driver for a Load.
2. Platform Role & Disclaimer
Shipion acts only as a technology platform to connect Customers and Drivers.
Shipion does not provide transport services.
Shipion does not guarantee delivery, pricing, timing, or conduct of Users.
Any agreement formed after a bid is accepted is strictly between the Customer and Driver.
3. User Eligibility
By using Shipion, you confirm that:
You are 18 years or older
You provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
You are legally capable of entering into contracts
4. Account Registration & Security
Users must register with valid contact details.
You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your account.
Shipion is not liable for unauthorized access due to user negligence.
5. Load Posting & Bidding
Customers may post Loads with correct details (route, vehicle, weight, timing).
Drivers may submit bids based on provided information.
Shipion does not control or influence bid amounts.
Customers may choose to accept, reject, or ignore bids.
CUSTOMER TERMS
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide accurate pickup and delivery details
Ensure goods are legal, safe, and properly packed
Communicate clearly with Drivers
Make payments as agreed after bid confirmation
7. Prohibited Goods (Customers)
Customers must not post or transport:
Illegal, stolen, or banned goods
Hazardous materials without disclosure
Explosives, drugs, or prohibited substances
Any goods violating local or national laws
8. Customer Liability
Customers are responsible for accuracy of load details
Shipion is not responsible for loss, delay, or damage
Any disputes must be resolved directly with the Driver
DRIVER TERMS
9. Driver Eligibility & Compliance
Drivers confirm that:
They hold valid licenses and permits
Vehicles are roadworthy and insured
They comply with transport and traffic laws
10. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers agree to:
Provide truthful bids and availability
Deliver goods with reasonable care
Communicate delays or issues promptly
Not demand additional charges beyond agreed bid (unless mutually approved)
11. Driver Conduct
Drivers must not:
Misrepresent vehicle type or capacity
Cancel confirmed loads without valid reason
Engage in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior
Shipion reserves the right to suspend or terminate Driver accounts for violations.
12. Payments & Settlements
Shipion may facilitate or record payment status but is not a payment guarantor
Payment terms are mutually decided by Customers and Drivers
Shipion is not liable for non-payment or disputes
GENERAL TERMS
13. Ratings & Reviews
Users may rate and review each other
Reviews must be honest and non-abusive
Shipion may remove fake or misleading reviews
14. Account Suspension & Termination
Shipion reserves the right to:
Suspend or terminate accounts for:
Fraud
Policy violations
Abuse of platform features
Remove content or bids without prior notice
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Shipion shall not be liable for:
Loss of goods
Delays
Financial losses
Disputes between Users
Use of the Platform is at your own risk
16. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold Shipion harmless from:
Claims
Damages
Losses
Legal costs arising from misuse of the Platform
17. Privacy
Use of Shipion is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
User data is handled according to applicable laws.
18. Modifications to Terms
Shipion may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use after changes implies acceptance
Users are encouraged to review Terms periodically
19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
